BIG WINDSTORM HITS PORT HUENEME

The windstorm that hit Port Hueneme, was so big that I dont think anyone will be going outside today, unless they want to be hit by a falling tree! Many trees have been blown over. This is a picture of a large potted bush that was blown over by a powerful gust of wind. I bet this is not the only pot that has been broken today. The high winds blew down power lines that started fires in nearby counties. The smoke has been so bad that the sky was brown and the sun turned red. The luke warm winds started out in Santa Anna mountains and swiftly came to Port Hueneme carrying soot and ash from the fires with it. Its now heading into the Pacific Ocean but it will be a while till it ends. I presume it will clear tomorrow morning, but you never know. I hope that if you have allergies you will not be outside. This is an especially bad time to be outside if you have asthma. A tree almost fell on the base Chapel. Thankfully it fell beside it not on it. I hope nobody got hurt in this scary event.
